DLP Technical Lead - L3

As a Security Consultant, you will be a key advisor for IBM's clients, analyzing business requirements to design and implement the best security solutions for their needs. You will apply your technical skills to find the balance between enabling and securing the client's organization with the cognitive solutions that are making IBM the fastest growing enterprise security business in the world.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As the Symantec DLP L3 Engineer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Hands-on experience of DLP technology across a large enterprise.
• Experience in DLP security solutions covering Symantec DLP Endpoint, Discover, Web & Email.
• Expertise on design and implementation of DLP policies.
• Expertise to fine-tune DLP policies to reduce false detection.
• Provide advice on Data Leakage Policy development.
• Administration of the DLP tools to include configuration of policies, upgrading, patching etc.
• Experience to troubleshoot Symantec DLP issues related to DLP Architecture, Services & Agents.
• Monitor and respond to alerts generated from the DLP systems and other technologies.
• Understand and follow the incident response process through event escalations.
• Collaborate with business groups to help them identify, classify and secure high value data.
• Sound knowledge of DLP versions, patching and other initiatives for system upgradation.
• Implementation of proactive measures to enhance accuracy and effectiveness of DLP tools.
• Good communication skills to discuss with various stakeholders with respect to collaborations, handling issues etc.
• Understanding of DAM Monitoring & Operations with respect to Policies, upgrading & patching
• Experience in troubleshooting Agent Integrations issues.
• Knowledge of handling File Integrity Monitoring (FIM) events & take action accordingly.
• Understanding of Tripwire Baselining with respect to MBSS and Industry standards.
• Understanding of OS, DB and Middleware baselines & implementing policies accordingly.
• Good understanding of organizational network architecture
• Experience in maintaining various metrices and SLAs
