DMS Billing Analyst

Director, Platform Revenue

ChargePoint is hiring a DMS (Driver Management System) Billing Analyst who will be a key contributor in the finance team at a high-energy, growth environment. This individual will be responsible for key functions within the Company’s Driver Management System Billing cycle and must be able to partner with internal and external customers. The ideal candidate must be highly analytical and inquisitive with strong attention to detail and should be able to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment that is extremely demanding and deadline driven. The ideal candidate will love getting “hands on,” yet also see the big picture, be able to communicate articulately, possess very good problem-solving skills and is a process-oriented individual who is also flexible and thrives in a demanding startup setting. The role will be evaluated based on payment accuracy and efficiency as measured by key performance indicators, as well as feedback from the team and business.

• Draft and issue communications to the internal and external customers. Including errors, escalation, process changes and schedule updates
• Review DMS customer account setups for proper details and banking information requirements
• Resolve any driver related returned or failed payments promptly while performing data entry updates to the billing system
• Perform key reconciliations between various business systems
• Maintain key performance indicators and utilize these to drive improvement and efficiency
• Strong work ethic with the ability and flexibility to work extended hours during critical periods such as quarter and year-end remittance deadlines
• Evaluate existing processes and evaluate opportunities to automate and drive efficiency
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, and internal control policies and procedures

• Ability to work US hours
• 3+ years of billing experience
• NetSuite experience required
• Proficient in time management and workload efficiency skills
• Must be detail-oriented, work well in a dynamic environment, work independently, handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and have excellent organizational skills
• Maintain confidentiality in all assignments and in all information obtained
• Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
• Ability to identify areas of opportunities and drive improvements cross-functionally.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization both internally and externally
• Highly motivated and results oriented work ethic
• Bachelor’s/Associate’s degree preferred
