ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED

1.    Receives and stores the master copy of controlled documents.
2.    Assures that proper security is provided for each document and record.
3.    Receives and stores ECN’s and records associated with new/revised documents.
4.    Provides visibility of retained documents and locations to users.
5.    Assures that documents are readily available to authorized personnel.
6.    Audits controlled documents within the facility, makes corrections as needed and compiles the audit report.
7.    Updates computer system with approved data and makes decisions regarding which data is to be entered into the correct table.
8.    Archives hard copy and electronic files making recommendations for deletion at the end of the retention period.
9.    Performs other duties and tasks as required.

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

•    Education and/or experience equivalent to a High School Diploma with two years of related experience.
•    Excellent attention to detail.
•    Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
•    Ability to communicate effectively and to work with others as a team member.
•    Good organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
•    Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.

COMMENTS

Infectious Control Risk Category III:

The risk category explains whether or not employees are likely to come into contact with blood or body fluids while performing their jobs.  Risk category III states employment and procedures that do not require exposure.
