Overview We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding techniques, particularly Stick welding, and possess mechanical knowledge to effectively build and rig various structures. This position requires working on construction sites and utilizing power tools to complete projects efficiently and safely. Responsibilities • Perform welding tasks using Stick welding techniques to fabricate and repair metal components. • Execute pipe threading and soldering as needed for various projects. • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding processes. • Utilize power tools and equipment safely while maintaining a clean work environment. • Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. • Conduct routine inspections of welded joints to ensure structural integrity. • Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for precise welding work. Experience • Proven experience as a Welder in a construction or manufacturing environment is preferred. • Familiarity with pipe threading, rigging, and the use of various power tools is essential. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. • Commitment to adhering to safety protocols on construction sites.
