This is a full-time temporary role. As our Market Manager, you will be supporting a large tobacco client in Austin, TX for our retail, non-retail (nightlife), or lifestyle events. Market managers will lead and manage a team of assistant managers assigned to them and finalize contracts with locations for activations to launch in. It is very important that in this role you have experiential marketing experience, experience building relationships with business owners, experience securing contracts with other businesses, and management experience where you have lead, coached, and trained a team of employees. You will also occasionally drive a truck with a trailer attached and go through DOT training.
Requirements:
Must be comfortable working for a tobacco client (you will be promoting nicotine pouches)
Must have reliable transportation
Must have a valid/active drivers license (a state ID will not suffice)
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be comfortable getting DOT certified or already be DOT certified (you will be driving a truck with a trailer attached)
Must have experiential marketing experience, experience finalizing contracts, and experience managing a team
Location:
You will work in either the retail market (gas station, convenience stores, and smoke shops), non-retail market (nightclubs and bars), or at lifestyle events
You will work at locations in a 30-mile radius in the Austin, TX area
Shift:
You will be a hybrid worker who works onsite and from home
You will work 40 hours a week

REQUIRED SKILLS
• Business to Business Partnerships.You have a strong ability to contractually sell-in program participation with venue owners. You have sales, business to business service or consumer engagement experience (ideally 5+ years).
• Autonomy. You have strong judgement and decision-making skills that allow you to make team decisions with the market independently and when partnering with local business partners.
• Skills.You have meticulous merchandising, collaboration and presentation skills. You are confident in your ability to track, monitor, and establish goals and budgets through the program.
• Leadership.You will oversee or manager our Assistant Manager who will then manage all the brand ambassadors. You can be a resource for them as a leader when necessary.
• Schedule: You must be flexible in your work schedule to include days, nights, and weekends as your business partners may need.
• Team Mindset. You possess the ability to attract and retail talent that's hired for your team and have an action and result based mindset.
• Requirements:You must be 21 or older and are comfortable with working for a tobacco / nicotine brand. Must be comfortable becoming DOT certified for role.

The annual range for this role varies between $1,100 – $1,300 per week, and may vary depending on the candidate's experience. Benefits for this role include health/vision/dental insurance, 401k. You are also eligible to participate in disability, life insurance, FSA/HSA plans subject to the terms and conditions of such benefit plans.
