Driver + Mover (Box Truck)

About Us Parmar Homes is a luxury home staging company based in Los Angeles. We stage properties ranging from $2 million to $10 million. There’s opportunity to grow within our company as we continue to expand. The Role we’re looking for a Driver + Mover to join our team. This position combines professional box truck driving with hands-on moving responsibilities. You’ll be responsible for transporting furniture and décor from our Downtown LA warehouse to staging sites, loading and unloading items, and assisting with setup and breakdown. This is a physical, detail-oriented role that requires reliability, care, and professionalism when handling high-end furniture and accessories. Job Summary Safely drive a 26’ box truck to staging sites across Los Angeles. Load, unload, wrap, and protect furniture, artwork, and décor. Assemble and disassemble staging furniture as needed. Assist with placement of rugs, art, and accessories under direction of staging team. Pull inventory for projects and return items to the warehouse after pickups. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized truck and warehouse space. Responsibilities • Safely drive a box truck to transport goods to designated locations. • Load and unload items efficiently while ensuring the safety of all items during transit. • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during pickups and deliveries. • Assist in packing and unpacking items as needed during the moving process. • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for loading and unloading heavy items when necessary. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and warehouse area. • Follow designated routes for deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. • Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation. • Ability to perform basic service work around the warehouse is a strong plus. Requirements • Valid California Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record (no CDL required). • At least 2 years of moving, delivery, or staging experience preferred. • Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs safely and repeatedly. • Reliable, punctual, and professional. • Detail-oriented and able to follow direction from the staging team. Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate $28/hour Mileage. Reimbursement when using personal vehicle for company-related travel.
