Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dry Wall & Framing professional to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various aspects of construction, including drywall installation, framing, and related tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The successful applicant will contribute to the successful completion of projects while ensuring high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities • Install drywall and metal stud framing according to project specifications and blueprints. • Perform carpentry tasks including frame carpentry, trim carpentry, and woodworking. • Execute concrete forming and finishing tasks as needed for various projects. • Assist with metal building erection and rebar installation as part of structural work. • Carry out masonry work, including stucco application and siding installation. • Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks. • Conduct heavy lifting and assist in the movement of materials on-site. • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality standards. • Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment on construction sites. • Participate in restoration and remodeling projects as required. Qualifications • Proven experience in drywall installation, framing, and general construction practices. • Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus. • Strong skills in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction management. • Knowledge of plastering techniques and roofing systems is advantageous. • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor for extended periods. • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and supervisors. • A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
