Drywall- Mechanic

MEMCO Houston is hiring experienced DRYWALL MECHANICS Job Location: Greater Houston Area Job Duties: • Framing various walls in both light and heavy gauge metal studs • Framing structural ceilings in both light and heavy gauge metal studs • Installing drywall in open areas as well as above ceiling line • Install elevator shaft walls and ensure joints are staggered and openings are framed per requirements • Follow layout lines on the floor, and stud spacing per drawings and specifications • Install wood and metal backing and according to lay out • Safe operation of ladders, scaffolds, and scissor lifts when needed • Indoor and outdoor work environment with exposure to various weather conditions and temperatures such as inclement weather, heat, humidity, and cold Job Requirements: • MUST have minimum 5 years prior experience in commercial drywall/sheetrock trade • MUST be available to work at various heights • MUST own hand tools and power tools required for the trade • MUST have own transportation to and from jobsites • Federal-level criminal background check will be ran upon job offer for worksite badging Please contact MEMCO Spring and ask for John Palacios or Jose Castillo Telecom Communications Privacy Notice: By submitting for this position you will receive a text message from us and you agree and authorize us to send you text messages; you can reply STOP at any tim e to opt-out of text messaging from us.
