Dump Truck Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with dump trucks and related machinery. This role is essential in transporting materials to and from construction sites, ensuring that projects run smoothly and efficiently. A strong understanding of mechanical operations and safety protocols is crucial for success in this position. Responsibilities • Operate dump trucks and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites. • Transport materials such as dirt, gravel, sand, and other construction supplies to designated locations. • Perform pre-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in safe working condition. • Maintain accurate logs of hours worked and materials transported. • Collaborate with site managers and other team members to coordinate deliveries and pickups. • Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed. • Follow all safety regulations and protocols while on the job site. • Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform minor repairs and maintenance on equipment when necessary. • Engage in horizontal drilling operations as required by project specifications. Requirements • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. • Proven experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy equipment. • Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with vehicles or equipment. • Familiarity with construction site operations, including safety practices and procedures. • Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments. • Experience with Caterpillar machinery is a plus. • Knowledge of water truck operations is advantageous but not mandatory. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
