Dump Truck Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the dump truck. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to work in various weather conditions. MUST KNOW THE IN'S AND OUT'S OF DUMP TRUCK DRIVING HERE IN VEGAS. Duties • Operate a dump truck to transport materials such as asphalt, gravel, sand, and debris. • Load and unload materials safely and efficiently. • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. • Follow designated routes for deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. • Maintain accurate records of materials transported, including weight tickets and delivery logs. • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site managers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road. • Ensure cleanliness of the truck both inside and out. • MUST HAVE A CLEAN MVR AND CLEARING HOUSE SETUP • MUST BE ABLE TO WORK NIGHTS & WEEKENDS AS NEEDED • MUST BE ABLE TO PASS PRE EMPLOYMENT & RANDOM DRUG TESTING • MUST HAVE A CURRENT MEDICAL CARD Skills • Proficient in driving Dump Trucks (LOOKING FOR EXPERINCED DRIVERS). • Experience with route driving and navigating through urban and rural areas. • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles. • Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety practices. • Capable of loading and unloading material at pits and jobsites. • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining safety standards.
