Dutch Translator/ Editor

Tripaneer is looking for a full-time home-based independent contractor who is based in LATAM and who can provide Dutch Editor/Translator services.

You will contribute in making sure our exciting experiences ranging from yoga retreats surf camps to martial arts are translated perfectly in Dutch for our Dutch customers.

As a Native Dutch Editor/Translator you will be responsible for the content of our website in your language. You will translate different kinds of content on our websites ranging from emails to blog posts from English to Dutch and from Dutch to English. You will create listings in Dutch for our Dutch speaking organizers. You will also proofread the materials submitted by our organizers to ensure its quality.

Responsibilities:

• Translating content | 20-30% of work week

  • Translating content published on our websites from English to Dutch and from Dutch to English.

• Editing & Proofreading | 50-60% of work week

  • Creating and publishing listings on our websites that are appealing to our Dutch Market while following the requests of our organizers.

  • Proofreading the content submitted by our organizers to guarantee its quality once published on our websites.

• Administrative support | 5-10% of work week

  • Translating emails to support our different teams.

  • Collaborating with our marketing team for Internet Marketing/SEO related tasks.

  • Supporting our customer service team with Dutch translation and communication.

Requirements:

• Being a native Dutch speaker and having excellent written & verbal communication skills in English.

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in any field.

• Fresh graduates / Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply.

• Excellent computer (Microsoft office) skills.

• Ability to stay focused while working on large tasks while retaining close attention to details.

• Work attitude with focus for high accuracy and precision is a must.

• Ability to work independently be proactive and use your own initiative.

Plus-points:

• Experienced using CAT tools.

• Experienced using online tools and services (e.g. google drive wikis and blogs).

• Basic knowledge of Internet Marketing / SEO.

Conditions:

• Proper registration as an independent contractor in your country of main residence from where you will be delivering the services is a hard requirement.
