Responsibilities
It's an exciting time to join Baker Tilly! We are looking for a Senior Fund Administrator to join our Development & Community Advisory team. This role is remote eligible.
As a Fund Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to investment fund managers in managing and organizing their investment portfolios. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the funds, including maintaining accurate records, preparing financial statements, and coordinating with service providers to ensure the smooth functioning of the funds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all transactions related to the fund, including investments, redemptions, and distributions.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions, investor information, and other important fund data.
- Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports to investors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with fund managers and investment teams to ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements. • Liaise with external service providers such as auditors, custodians, and legal advisers to ensure efficient and effective fund management.
- Provide exceptional customer service to investors by responding to inquiries and providing timely updates on fund performance.
- Assist with ad hoc projects related to the fund's operations and performance.
- Manage distributions to investors and performing other fund servicing responsibilities.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in fund administration, accounting, or a related field. Prior EB-5 fund administration experience strongly recommended
- Strong aptitude with information technology with proficient skills in word-processing, spreadsheet and presentation software and the ability to adapt to new technology is required
- Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to recognize financial issues through review of borrower financial statements
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, co-workers, and outside business professionals
- Self-starter who exhibits the drive and resourcefulness to work independently and with team members toward common Company goals - show confidence in functional skills and an ability to apply those skills in a multi-task cross-functional team setting
- Ability to work in an evolving, team oriented environment, and accept new challenges as assigned
- Must exhibit excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.
Additional Information
For California, Colorado, New York City and the state of Washington only, the range of starting salary for this role is $59,640 to $126,440. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
