Ecosystem Growth Lead

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Ecosystem Growth Lead, you will drive awareness, access, and adoption of Rootstock Total Product (Rootstock + RIF) by fostering meaningful collaborations across the extended crypto ecosystem. Your primary focus will be to develop and execute a regional ecosystem growth strategy, representing Rootstock at key events, and building relationships that lead to more protocol integrations, increased transactions, Total Value Locked (TVL), and greater usage of Rootstock Total Product (measured in active addresses).

This is not a sales-driven role but one centred on relationship-building and ecosystem collaboration for individuals deeply rooted in the crypto space.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strategy Development: Design and implement a comprehensive regional ecosystem growth strategy aligned with Rootstock’s mission.
• Community Representation: Serve as the public-facing representative of Rootstock Total Product at regional events, conferences, and meetups.
• Ecosystem Engagement: Cultivate relationships with Layer 1 chains, DeFi protocols, institutional investors, and other ecosystem participants to foster collaborations that drive integration, usage, and TVL growth.
• Awareness Building: Advocate for Rootstock within the crypto community, driving awareness and identifying opportunities for collaboration.
• Community Insights: Gather feedback and insights from the ecosystem to inform strategic decisions and improve ecosystem engagement.
• Event Participation: Attend conferences, lead discussions, and act as a Rootstock ambassador at regional and industry events.
• Process Coordination: Oversee and streamline the process of integrating community engagements into the broader ecosystem strategy.
• Stakeholder Management: Work with internal teams and external partners to align efforts and deliver on key milestones.
• Experimentation: Continuously explore and implement innovative approaches to drive ecosystem growth.
  

WHAT YOU BRING

• Ecosystem Expertise: Extensive experience working within a crypto ecosystem that has demonstrated significant growth, particularly with protocol or Layer 1 chain ecosystems.
• Relationship Building: Proven ability to develop and convert strategic relationships into tangible results, such as integrations and increased protocol usage.
• Event Leadership: Comfortable being the face of the company at events, leading discussions, and building awareness of Rootstock Total Product.
• Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to manage relationships with executives and key ecosystem participants effectively.
• Proactive and Experimental: A hands-on mindset with a willingness to try new approaches and adapt based on feedback and results.
• Detail-Oriented: Process-driven, with an eye for detail and a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
• Passion for Travel: High enthusiasm and flexibility to travel frequently as required by the role.
• Communication Skills: Clear, persuasive, and confident communicator in person, online, and across diverse audiences.
• Local Knowledge: Strong understanding of regional crypto landscapes, with expertise in either U.S. or Asia markets.
