Your Role and Responsibilities
As a partner enablement and platform manager on the Ecosystem team you will play a critical part in our Marketing organization driving partner-led demand motions to scale business growth for IBM’s technology offerings including hardware and software.

Our ecosystem partner enablement and platform managers have a deep understanding of our partners: how they sell how they make money and what their priority offerings are and use this knowledge to inform business growth.
In this role you will both manage communications and equip partners with the information they need to plan personalize execute and measure integrated marketing campaigns. To manage communication you will need to think creatively and strategically to translate the work IBM does with its partners into engaging beneficial stories that appeal to different audiences from partners to IT to business media. Additionally you will communicate Ecosystem news milestones and success stories– with a particular emphasis on partner outcomes.

You will also manage the partner enablement initiative by developing and optimizing effective marketing materials for the IBM Partner Plus platform which houses marketing materials specific to the local market. Partners use the platform to plan personalize execute and measure integrated marketing campaigns. You will design the content leveraged by partners and support delivery of platform benefits accelerating partner capability in the Japan market.

To be successful you need to have strong writing and presentation skills familiarity with enterprise technology and be comfortable learning IBM’s go-to-market model. You must be comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with large cross-company and global teams to accomplish goals with urgency and accountability.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Manage IBM Partner Plus communication and partner enablement platforms tools and materials to deliver beneficial information to sales partners.
• Develop written storytelling content blog posts press announcements and other go-to-market stories for external communications.
• Collaborate with business and marketing team members on content creation new product and thought leadership initiatives to drive effective communication programs.
• Partner with corporate communications colleagues geographic communications teams internal communications experts social media colleagues and others to maintain cohesive messaging in support of IBM’s global strategy.
• Communicate on program updates and enhancements.
• Collaborate proactively with IBM internal stakeholders to develop expertise in local market trends insights and demands.
• Report on latest business status and insight to Japan marketing leaders

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • B2B marketing experience
  • Excellent program/project management and execution skills able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Solid problem solving and analytical skills attention to detail and ability to be proactive.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills in Japanese and English skills


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience in content marketing.
  • Experience in campaign design and delivery.
