Your Role and Responsibilities

The Ecosystem Solution Marketer owns the growth strategy for specific IBM technologies through the ecosystem. The most successful marketer in this role is constantly asking “How do we grow our revenue and advocacy for IBM’s prioritized products with and through our ecosystems?” focusing the partner community on the technologies core to IBM’s growth strategy and maximizing their use and sell-through to aggressively grow revenue globally.

Responsibilities may include:

• Brings a strong understanding of the ecosystem to the marketing and product teams helping reinforce an ecosystem mindset.

• Is passionate about technology and what it can do – eager to help others benefit from what’s possible.

• Has experience working on a complex team working alongside product marketing and offering teams to shape the technology roadmap and ensure a partner-focused approach

• Aggressively grows the technology revenue through the ecosystem globally.

• Surfaces new growth opportunities to the IBM Product Marketing community to optimize core marketing activities

• Manages global growth scaling what’s working doubling down where growth exists and experimenting with new concepts where growth is slow.

• Drives feature advocacy through the product marketing and management teams.

• Collaborates with the product marketing and content teams to build compelling positioning and tools to aid partners in consuming and marketing the technologies.

• Works as part of an agile squad to rapidly improve the partner experience constantly piloting and globally scaling new ways to engage.

This is a Hybrid role attendance to the office will be required only 3 times peer week

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Partner marketing experience in a B2B environment having first-hand experience and a track record of successfully developing marketing strategy and programs

• Experimentative – working quickly to pilot succeed/fail fast and scale what works

• Highly collaborative – able to represent ecosystem in meetings and discussions building effective teaming relationships within ecosystem marketing and with other marketing and business areas

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Partner marketing experience in a B2B environment
• Client-centric mindset to find new ways to satisfy Partner needs
• Experimentative – works as part of a team to quickly to pilot succeed/fail fast and scale what works
• Highly collaborative – building effective teaming relationships within ecosystem marketing and with other marketing and business areas
