The Editor Motion Designer works in close collaboration with the Videographer Editor, Associate Studio Art Director, and Campaign Creative Leads to deliver excellence in motion and video editing. This post-production role is responsible for the editing and motion design of creative assets generated by the Benefit Global Creative Team. This role delivers strong motion design, animation, and editorial videos across global launch campaigns, social content, and brand projects. This role requires exceptional creative concepting and execution skills to tell compelling stories in motion. As needed, this role may also assist with internal campaigns related to employer branding, education, etc.

What You'll Do:

• Provides editing and motion for campaign video projects, product videos, social content, owned website videos, retailer videos, sizzle reels and branded content for both external and internal use.
• Implements creative decision-making when executing video editing and motion design to obtain results.
• Produces creative execution for video including storyboards, motion design concepting and editing for multiple formats and channels.
• Owns Social video editing and motion specifically for Tik Tok, Instagram and YouTube, and the unique editorial style for each platform.
• Owns text and title animation, graphic animation, and other dynamic graphics of all motion design projects.
• Own post-production duties such as finishing, color correcting, and final asset delivery.
• Contributes to the larger global creative strategy by suggesting new ideas, conceptualizes the motion and the editorial approach, and supporting a unique creative vision.
• Assures adherence to brand DNA, business schedules, and work plans; ensures and maintains organization for all video projects.

Qualifications:

• Strong portfolio demonstrating a wide range of motion graphics and video editing
• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, motion design, animation, or related field
• A keen eye for detail and aesthetics
• Strong technical and execution skills

Schedule:

• Hybrid- requires onsite presence weekly

The target salary range for this position is $72,000 - $98,000annually. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, years of relevant experience; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. This position is eligible to earn an annual bonus.
