Electrical Apprentice

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, with experience in both industrial and commercial settings. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and using various electrical testing tools. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems to ensure safety and efficiency. Duties • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. • Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of electrical systems. • Utilize hand tools and testing equipment such as ammeters, voltmeters, and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues. • Perform high voltage installations and repairs as required. • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects, including frame carpentry tasks when necessary. • Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations. • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or issues. Experience • Proven experience as an Electrician in industrial or commercial settings is preferred. • Familiarity with high voltage systems is highly desirable. • Proficient in using hand tools and electrical testing equipment. • Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams effectively. • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
