Electrical Design Technician

Create layouts for printed circuit boards (PCBs) using computer Xpedition & PCB Design software. Work with engineers and other disciplines to create 3D models of circuit boards. This may involve close collaboration with the hardware design team. Prepare documents for PCB assembly, schematics, and manufacturing files. Review and recommend improvements to existing designs. Provide support to PCB engineering and manufacturing teams. Complete PCB designs according to the agreed project time, cost, quality, and performance requirements.

Your Role:

• Implement Electrical Center Design Changes to PCB Layout.
• Develop Electrical Center Design with integrated electronics.
• Create/Update component into Xpedition Library.
• Work with Automotive OEMs to develop and interpret customer requirements.
• Create and present technical presentations to sell and explain new electrical center designs.
• Create schematics, bill of materials, and support PCB layouts using Xpedition, DxDesigner, Hyperlynx and Expedition.
• Support product validation and testing.
• Support the cross functional team including software, systems engineering, purchasing, PCB layout, documentation.

Requirements:

• Studying or unfinished career in Electrical, Electronical or Electromechanics Engineering
• Intermediate English level
• Good use of Microsoft Office
• SolidWorks AutoCAD
• Drawings interpretation
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Visual Statistics and Payton are desired
