Electrical Foreman

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead and oversee electrical crews on commercial and/or residential projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, proven leadership skills, and the ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget. Key Responsibilities • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electrical crews. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams. • Plan, assign, and monitor work to ensure compliance with code requirements and safety standards. • Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available and properly used on-site. • Conduct quality checks and resolve any technical or installation issues. • Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades. • Train, mentor, and evaluate electricians and apprentices. • Maintain accurate records of work progress, timesheets, and project documentation. • Enforce all company and OSHA safety policies and procedures. Qualifications • Minimum 5+ years of electrical field experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role. • Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License (as required by state/local regulations). • Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and local building codes. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.
