Electrical Helper

Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrical Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist electricians in various tasks related to electrical installations and repairs in both industrial and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. Duties • Assist electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements. • Support high voltage and low voltage electrical work under the supervision of experienced electricians. • Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and other testing equipment to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites. • Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely. Experience • Previous experience as an industrial or commercial electrician is preferred. • Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) is a plus. • Experience in construction site environments is essential. • Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. • Knowledge of frame carpentry is beneficial for assisting with installations that require structural support. • A background in electrical work, including both high voltage and low voltage systems, is highly desirable.
