Primary Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician Alternate/Related Job Titles: Industrial Electrician, Electrical Technician, Maintenance Electrician Location:San Antonio Pay Rate:$20 - $24 Job Summary: As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This role involves interpreting blueprints, performing routine inspections, and ensuring optimal system performance with minimal downtime. Your expertise in diagnosing electrical issues and implementing solutions will be key to maintaining operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: * Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical system issues. * Inspect, maintain, and repair circuit breakers, wiring, fixtures, and machines. * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. * Label and organize system components for efficient maintenance. * Perform electrical load calculations and ensure compliance with regulations. * Utilize tools such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and ohmmeters for system testing. * Conduct maintenance and repairs on outdated or faulty machinery. * Respond to maintenance and fault requests in a timely manner. * Provide recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements. * Maintain accurate electrical maintenance records and reports. Required Experience: * 2-3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, repair, or a related field. * Experience working with industrial electrical systems and troubleshooting equipment failures. Nice-to-Have Experience: * Previous experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or commercial facility. * Knowledge of PLC systems and automation controls. * Experience with energy efficiency improvements and compliance standards. Required Skills: * Electrical troubleshooting and maintenance. * Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints. * Proficiency with electrical testing tools (oscilloscopes, voltmeters, ohmmeters).
