Job Description
Overview:Shelby Electrical, a reputable and well-established licensed electrical contractor in Brooklyn, is seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Project Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team, gain valuable experience, and contribute to the success of our projects.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Oversight:
• Plan, oversee, and direct electrical projects for construction.
• Disseminate relevant information to various departments related to the project.
• Monitor project progress and maintain project schedule.
• Develop project budget and track project costs according to contractual obligations.
• Review and study project documents, including estimates, design drawings, specifications, customer proposals, and contracts.
Team Management:
• Delegate responsibilities to electrical professionals.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Support and Documentation:
• Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of electrical projects.
• Maintain project records, contracts, and documentation.
Scheduling and Budgeting:
• Assist in project scheduling, ensuring timelines are met.
• Support budget management and cost control efforts.
Communication and Collaboration:
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Quality Control and Problem Solving:
• Help maintain high-quality work standards and safety protocols.
• Identify and address project-related issues in a timely manner.
Other Duties:
• Perform other duties assigned by the manager.
Requirements:
• Proven experience (5+ years) in electrical project management, preferably in the construction industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and industry standards.
• Solid understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Familiarity with electrical design, codes, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC).
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (Procore, Field-wire, Autodesk Build, etc.).
• Experience in Computer Aided Drawing (AutoCAD, Revit).
• Professional certifications (PMP, Certified Electrical Project Manager) are a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
