Electrical Project Manager

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and results-drivenElectrical Project Managerto oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical construction projects in the Bay Area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical contracting, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects from inception to completion while ensuring quality, safety, and profitability. Key Responsibilities • Project Management:Plan, schedule, and oversee all phases of electrical construction projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget completion. • Coordination:Collaborate with clients, general contractors, engineers, and internal teams to clarify project requirements and resolve issues. • Budget & Cost Control:Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses, and prepare cost reports to ensure profitability. • Scheduling:Create and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring critical milestones are met. • Quality & Safety:Ensure work meets company quality standards, complies with local and national electrical codes, and adheres to all safety regulations. • Procurement:Coordinate material purchases and subcontractor services to align with project timelines and specifications. • Documentation:Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and progress reports. • Team Leadership:Supervise foremen, and electricians, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. • Client Relations:Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships. Qualifications • Minimum5 years of experiencein electrical construction project management, preferably in commercial or industrial sectors. • In-depth knowledge ofNEC, NFPA, OSHA, and California electrical codes. • Proven experience managing projects exceeding$1Min value. • Strong budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration skills. • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and communication abilities. • Proficiency withproject management software(e.g., Procore, Spectrum, or similar). • Bachelor’s degree inConstruction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. • Valid California driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites throughout the Bay Area.
