Electrical Technician

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilledElectricianwith 4–5 years of hands-on experience insingle-family homes, multi-unit buildings, and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will be experienced in all aspects of Service Upgrades. Crucial skills for this role include running pipe, pulling wire, reading prints, and troubleshooting a variety of electrical systems. This position requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities: • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and multi-unit buildings. • Bend and install EMT, IMC, and PVC conduit per Chicago Electrical Code standards. • Pull, terminate, and label wiring according to NEC and local requirements. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. • Troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently and safely. • Ensure compliance with allCity of ChicagoandNEC codes. • Maintain clean work areas and proper documentation of completed work. • Communicate effectively with team members, inspectors, and clients. Qualifications: • 4–5 years of electrical experience inresidential, multi-unit, and commercial projects. • Proven experience withservice upgrades, pipe bending, and wiring installations. • Familiarity withChicago Electrical CodeandNEC 2020. • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. • OSHA 10 or 30 certification (preferred). • Current Electrical License or Registered Apprentice/Journeyman (preferred).
