Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, including experience with low voltage applications and industrial environments. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. • Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, ammeters, voltmeters, and other specialized equipment for electrical work. • Troubleshoot electrical issues by diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions. • Ensure all work complies with NEC standards and local building codes. • Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance. • Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters to complete projects efficiently. Requirements • Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role within the electrical field. • Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and safety practices. • Familiarity with low voltage systems is preferred. • Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings. • Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Industrial electrician experience is a plus.
