Position Summary: The Electrician is responsible for performing turnkey generator installations, electrical service work, and small-scale projects in both residential and commercial settings. This hands-on role requires physical stamina, technical aptitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service while representing GenServe in a professional and customer-focused manner. The Electrician must be flexible to work irregular hours, participate in an on-call rotation, and occasionally travel overnight for out-of-town assignments. Key Responsibilities: · Perform turnkey generator installations and electrical service work. · Complete assigned small projects efficiently and according to safety and quality standards. · Participate in after-hours on-call pager rotation as scheduled. · Maintain flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays. · Travel occasionally for out-of-town projects, including overnight stays. Qualifications: · Minimum of 1 year of experience in the electrical industry. · Strong written and verbal communication skills. · Positive attitude with a focus on customer service. · Professional demeanor while representing GenServe in the field. · Physical capability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs, crawl, and climb ladders. · Electrical aptitude and familiarity with basic hand tools. · Eagerness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies. · Preferred background in commercial/residential electrical work or related military experience.
