Electrician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial electrical systems, with a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety practices. This role involves working on construction sites and requires proficiency in using various electrical tools and equipment. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout of electrical systems. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, voltmeters, and other testing devices to troubleshoot electrical issues. • Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify hazards or defects. • Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure timely project completion. • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols while working in high voltage environments. • Document work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and installations. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician or similar role. • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components including high voltage applications. • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools related to electrical work. • Ability to read schematics and technical documents effectively. • Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in the construction industry. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Valid electrician's license or certification is preferred but not mandatory.
