Electrician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. Our contracts consist of a large cross section of various construction and design disciplines and we have performed on multiple government contracts. We are almost exclusively a Federal Contractor performing work for AFSPC, NAVFAC, NIWC, USACE, DOS, DOD and many other non-DOD federal agencies in CONUS and OCONUS locations. The ideal candidate will have experience in both industrial and commercial electrical work, demonstrating proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and various electrical testing equipment. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards. We Duties • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial and industrial settings. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently. • Conduct tests using ammeters, ohmmeters, and other testing devices to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems. • Troubleshoot electrical issues by diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions. • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations while working on construction sites. • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects to ensure timely completion of tasks. • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Experience • Proven experience as an Electrician in both industrial and commercial settings is required. • Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage systems is a plus. • Experience working on construction sites is essential. • Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations. • Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. • Experience with frame carpentry is a nice-to-have skill but not required. • A commitment to safety practices in all aspects of work is essential.
