Electrician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components. This role involves working in finished homes and on construction sites, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). Installing anything from basic outlets, LED accent lights, can light, new home runs, sub panels, panel upgrades, and even troubleshooting. We are a small company looking to grow. Communication is essential for your success. You will be working one one with the owner. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while adhering to safety protocols. We are about QUALITY over quantity. Responsibilities • Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems. • Install, maintain, and repair wiring, fixtures, and control equipment in accordance with NEC standards. • Conduct tests using ammeters and voltmeters to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems. • Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements. • Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. • Adhere to all safety regulations and practices while working on-site. • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Experience • Proven experience as a residential electrician or commercial electrician is preferred. • Familiarity with low voltage systems is a plus (12v and 24v led lights). • Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding of NEC guidelines. • Experience in frame carpentry is beneficial for integration with other construction tasks. • Conduit bending is a plus • Ability to work effectively on construction sites under varying conditions.
