Electrician Helper, Junior Tech assistant, 2 years experience necessary

We are looking for an energetic and positive electrician/ junior tech helper. Besides having a strong education, and technical background the successful candidate will need to be an enthusiastic and goal oriented professional with strong work ethic. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Support technician in operation, maintenance and repair • Assist technician in the maintenance and installation of various electronics • Driving responsibly the company vehicle, and keeping clean • Keeping all tools in order and well organized • Basic knowledge of electrical cable wiring • Help terminate low voltage cable and test cables • Work with mechanical and electrical tools as well as hand tools • Knowledge of the multimeter, toner and test cables a big plus • Packing and unpacking of tools and equipment necessary for each installation. This entails gathering specific tools and materials and organizing them in the provided bags/boxes before and after each installation. • Varying responsibilities may be added to meet the growing needs of the company as they arise. Required Skills and Competencies: • Have a can-do attitude • Excellent driving skills • Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage a big plus • Have intermediate computer skills, and knowledge of Microsoft excel and Google • Able to communicate and report with office on various technical issues, trouble-shoot and solve technical questions and follow-up efficiently • Ability to carry a ladder and climb up a 7 FT ladder with protective gear • Able to lift and carry with easy up to 50 lbs • A valid driver’s license required, and an impeccable driving record – this will be verified • Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills (i.e., ability to listen, observe, and interact with clients, colleagues, etc.) • Keen attention to detail • OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certificate required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour Benefits: • Health insurance Education: • Associate (Required) Experience: • Technical support: 2 years (Required) • Maintenance: 3 years (Preferred) License/Certification: • Driver's License (Required) Work Location: On the road
