Job Description

TITLE:Electrician Lead LOCATION:Seattle, WA PAY:$83,000 - $105,000 EMPLOYMENT TYPE:Full-Time, Direct Hire BENEFITS:Health, dental, vision, 401-K match, PTO, paid holidays. We are partnering with a thriving Marine Electrical Services company seeking to hire a full-time Electrician Lead to oversee and execute electrical projects on marine vessels, floating structures, and industrial sites. The role involves installing, maintaining, and upgrading electrical systems while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Projects may include shore power, motor controls, distribution systems, VFDs, communication systems, and terminal-wide power solutions. Work is often performed on-site, including shipyards, ports, and offshore locations, requiring adaptability to dynamic environments and tight deadlines. Qualifications & Skills: • 5+ years of electrical experience, preferably in marine, industrial, or shipyard environments. • Strong understanding of electrical theory, schematics, circuit diagrams, and 480VAC 3-phase systems. • Experience with lockout/tagout (LOTO), OSHA safety protocols, motor controllers, circuit sizing, and Ohm’s Law. • Ability to use a multimeter and perform basic load calculations. • Familiarity with VFDs, soft starters, and motor circuits. • Competency in metric and standard measuring systems and mathematical conversions. Requirements: • Prior leadership or lead experience required. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. • Ability to obtain a TWIC card. • Own basic hand tools (company provides power and specialty tools). • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed. • Strong teamwork, professionalism, and a commitment to safety. Work Environment & Expectations: • On-site work at shipyards, ports, and industrial facilities. • Personal protective equipment provided, including hard hats, safety glasses, and coveralls. • Employees must provide ANSI-rated work boots, gloves, and hearing protection. • Leadership responsibilities, including mentoring apprentice electricians, managing project completion and timelines, and maintaining high craftsmanship standards.
