Electrician Project Superintendent (Commercial)

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced commercial Project Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. This role requires effective communication with various stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and team members, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities • Supervise daily construction activities and manage on-site personnel to ensure adherence to project schedules. • Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera P6 for project scheduling and documentation. • Oversee contract management, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and specifications. • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and safety compliance according to OSHA standards. • Collaborate with project managers on budgeting and construction estimating to maintain financial accountability. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for effective project execution. • Implement quality control measures throughout the construction process to meet industry standards. • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. • Provide training and guidance to team members regarding safety protocols and best practices in construction site management. Qualifications • Proven experience in construction management with a strong understanding of project scheduling and budgeting. • Familiarity with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Primavera P6. • Solid background in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and quality control processes. • Experience in managing contracts and supervising teams on construction sites. • Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to workplace safety in the construction industry. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform construction estimating effectively. • Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members. • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on achieving project goals efficiently.
