Electrician Working Foreman

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Working Supervisor to oversee construction projects and ensure that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction processes, and the ability to manage teams effectively. This role requires hands-on involvement in various aspects of construction management, including project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control. Duties • Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and OSHA standards. • Manage project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 and ProCore to ensure timely completion of tasks. • Oversee the work of subcontractors and laborers, providing guidance and support as needed. • Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality control and adherence to project specifications. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure accurate execution of plans. • Collaborate with project managers on budgeting and construction estimating to keep projects within financial constraints. • Utilize construction management software such as HeavyBid for efficient project tracking and reporting. • Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills in construction practices. Qualifications • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry, with a strong understanding of construction site operations. • Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and HeavyBid. • Strong knowledge of project scheduling techniques and budgeting practices. • Familiarity with pipeline construction processes is a plus. • Excellent blueprint reading skills along with the ability to interpret technical documents accurately. • Experience in quality control measures and ensuring compliance with safety standards. • Strong management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment. • Previous experience using tools such as an ohmmeter is advantageous but not required.
