Job Description
The James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital (JAHVH) in Tampa, Florida is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Electrophysiology Cardiologist to join our dynamic and mission-driven Cardiology Section within the Department of Medicine. This is an outstanding opportunity to provide cutting-edge cardiovascular care to our nation’s Veterans in a collegial, academic, and patient-centered environment.
Position Highlights- Provide comprehensive EP services including device implantation, ablations, and consultative care for arrhythmia management.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, advanced practice providers, and electrophysiology staff dedicated to delivering high-quality care.
- Participate in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows through our strong affiliation with the University of South Florida (USF) Morsani College of Medicine.
- Opportunity to engage in quality improvement, research, and clinical innovation initiatives within VA’s national healthcare network.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiology and Electrophysiology.
- Active, unrestricted medical license (any U.S. state or territory).
- Strong clinical, teaching, and interpersonal skills.
