As a Electroplating Technician, you will be working hands-on to support our fast-paced prototyping team, where we turn ideas into functional parts quickly and accurately. You will be trained on the job and be immersed in precision electroplating, and support our Prototyping team in day-to-day operations, including plating, polishing, and hand finishing parts. The successful Electroplating Technician is mechanically inclined, with an aptitude for problem solving and desire to work on unique lower volume part projects.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform electroplating operations on various substrates
• Adhere to procedures and methods
• Assist with development of new procedures and methods
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to study and interpret sample parts, engineering drawings, and CAD models
• Understand and perform projects and duties in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), as well as informal written and verbal instructions
• Maintain a neat, clean and organized work area with engineers and technicians, as well as awareness of stock of materials, fixtures, and other tools or parts
Required Skills and Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent, with basic math skills
• Experience with handling chemical solutions, which may be hazardous
• Experience with electrolytic plating processes and procedures
• Strong interest and aptitude in hands-on technical and mechanical work
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to learn quickly and develop understanding of working projects and needs
• Ability to stay organized between multiple tasks and projects and in a collaborative workshop environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working from and interpreting informal documentation that may change as projects evolve

Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications. The expected salary range for this role is $48,000 to $62,000 annually.
