Elementary School Teacher - 1st Grade

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. Duties • Implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards in subjects such as literacy. • Utilize classroom management techniques to create a safe and productive learning environment. • Provide individualized support to students, through tailored instruction and mentoring. • Assess student progress through standardized testing and ongoing evaluations, adjusting teaching methods as necessary. • Foster early childhood education principles, focusing on childhood development and early intervention strategies. • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and share best practices for effective teaching. • Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. • Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends. Experience • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues. • Experience in library services or knowledge of literacy education is beneficial. • Ability to demonstrate writing skills for creating instructional materials and assessments.
