Elementary School Teacher

Elementary Teacher Old Plank Christian Academy is seeking an early Elementary teacher who is called to serve in Christian education for the 2025-2026 school year. We are a smaller school that is a ministry of Old Plank Road Baptist Church located in Jacksonville, Florida. OPCA is a growing, thriving ministry with a family atmosphere that is looking for a teachers to join our qualified team of educators for the 2025-2026 school year. Qualifications: • Love for children with a genuine and growing Christian testimony • Classroom teaching skills with elementary aged students • Skilled at written and oral communication with students and adults (parents/colleagues) • Proficient in Bible knowledge • Ability to work as a team member with other educators. • Desire to adhere to norms, culture and guidelines in a conservative Christian School environment. • Classroom management skills • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Applicants must submit to background screening. Job Description: The teacher will organize and manage a class of approximately 15-25 students. We are looking for teachers who will love students and families, effectively manage student behavior, teach academics strongly with a Biblical world view and cooperate and partner with our ministry to "train up children in the way they should go."
