Embedded Systems Software Engineer

About the company: • Atonometrics, Inc. designs and manufactures innovative precision sensors used in the rapidly growing solar energy industry. Established in 2007, we are a small, passionate engineering team, with an excellent working environment, and a focus on innovative products. Our products are deployed globally, helping monitor photovoltaic installations in real-world conditions. • We are seeking an Embedded Systems Software Engineer to join us in developing and supporting the embedded systems and test infrastructure behind our sensor products. What will you do? • Design, develop, and test embedded firmware and user application software to support our sensor products • Design, develop, and test manufacturing test software used to calibrate and test our products prior to shipment • Partner up with hardware engineers to define and test interfaces, debug systems, and validate features. What are we looking for? Required: • Proficiency in at least one language such as C, Python, C# • Results-driven engineering mindset and problem-solving skills • Strong technical background, attention to detail • Ability to learn quickly, and work independently • Comfortable working with hardware and software together • Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude • Bachelor's degree in a science, technology, engineering, or math field.
