As an Emergency Medicine Physician, you will work alongside other EM Physicians, EM APPs, and EM nurses and staff to take care of patients and save lives. Although the focus of this role is primarily clinical, there will be career development opportunities with access to get involved in education, administration and leadership.

Requirements:

• North Carolina Medical License (or eligibility) required.
• ABEM or AOBEM certified or eligible

Affiliated with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist (AHWFB), Wake Forest Emergency Providers (WFEP) is a nationally recognized, 501c3 non-profit, proudly providing health care for all! We are contracted with select, partner organizations to provide staffing for Hospital Emergency Departments, Free Standing Emergency Departments, and Urgent Cares throughout the North Central and Northwest regions of North Carolina.

This beautiful region of North Carolina has a moderate climate with all four seasons. The Blue Ridge Mountains and Parkway are a 1-2 hour drive to the north and west, and North Carolina's beaches are close enough to enjoy during long weekends. The region is on an upward trajectory that still maintains its Southern roots and small town feel. Although the region is traditionally Southern in its friendliness, it has an international vibe with an array of festivals and a wide variety of restaurants and entertainment options.
