When a tree crashes through a roof or a storm tears open a building, you will be the one people count on to secure their property, restore their sense of safety, and prevent further damage.

Key Responsibilities:
·Be the Hero on Call:Respond fast to emergency calls, arriving on site ready to assess and stabilize structures damaged by storms, tree strikes, or other disasters.
·Secure and Protect:Board up broken windows, doors, and openings with precision to keep out weather, vandals, and hazards.
·Shield Against the Storm:Deploy tarps and coverings on damaged roofs and walls to prevent further water intrusion and buy time for lasting repairs.
·Think on Your Feet:Assess damage and collaborate with team leads to recommend the best temporary repair solutions.
·Stay Mission Ready:Keep tools and materials prepped, organized, and job-site ready so you are always equipped to act.
·Work Safely, Work Smart:Follow safety protocols to protect yourself, your crew, and the property owners you are serving.
·Deliver Reassurance:Communicate clearly and compassionately with customers in high-stress moments, helping them feel safe and informed.
·Document with Precision:Record every detail of the work performed to ensure accuracy in reporting, billing, and future repairs.
Qualifications:
·Experience:At least 2 years in carpentry, preferably in construction or emergency repair.
·Skillset:Proficiency with carpentry tools, secure installation of plywood, lumber, and tarps, plus knowledge of structural repair basics.
·Physical Readiness:Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces or at heights.
·Availability:Flexible and ready for on-call work, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
·Licenses & Certifications:Valid driver’s license required; OSHA 10 or similar safety certification is a plus.
·Mindset:Problem solver with strong communication skills, cool under pressure, and ready to jump into action.
Working Conditions:
·Dynamic Work Environments:From stormy rooftops to damaged interiors—you will work indoors and outdoors, often in tough weather or unstable conditions.
·Travel:Frequent travel to job sites across our service area.
·High-Energy Shifts:Be prepared for extended hours during major disasters when your skills matter most.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
