Emerging Technology Project Manager

Responsibilities: The H-E-B Emerging Technology & Innovation (ETI) Team focuses on how we inspire and innovate with transformational change through discovering, learning, and recommending technologies that improve the lives of our customers and Partners. As a Technology Manager on the ETI team, it will be your responsibility to deliver Pilots supporting business teams and identified priorities. Information Technology / Project Management: • Leads team effort to ensure solutions that meet business needs are identified, documented, analyzed, communicated; facilitates implementation • Leads definition and documentation of current, future operational scenarios; collaborates with stakeholders to translate moderately complex business needs into solutions / requirements • Leads definition, specifications, and work development to implement solutions • Leads delivery of applications, systems, processes, metrics, and services in agreed upon time frames • Leads analysis of probable impact that recommendations / solutions would have on other business areas and client groups • Leads the team in conducting post implementation analysis to identify future improvement opportunities • Proactively identifies issues, gaps in business processes and technology needs What is your background? • A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or experience • 4+ years of experience Do you have what it takes to be a fit as an H-E-B Technology Manager I? • Proficiency in MS Office • Advanced project management skills • Advanced analytical skills • Strong verbal / written communication and presentation skills • Technical skills related to the job • Ability to work with teams / lead projects Can you... • Function in a fast-paced environment • Travel by car or plane with overnight stays • Work extended hours; sit for extended periods 09-2022
