EMG

• Perform motor and sensory nerve conduction studies following established protocols.
• Assist the physician during needle EMG examinations by preparing the patient, setting up equipment, and documenting findings.
• Calibrate and operate EMG/NCS equipment (Cadwell) and ensure proper functioning before each study.
• Accurately record and label data for interpretation and assist with report preparation.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients, ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of EMG lab, including electrode and needle inventory.
• Adhere to safety and infection control policies and comply with HIPAA standards.
• Participate in quality assurance and continuing education activities as required.

• Experience performing nerve conduction studies in a clinical neurology or neurodiagnostic setting.
• Strong knowledge of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and EMG/NCS procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills.

• Certification as a Registered Nerve Conduction Technologist ( Show Contact Details ) or equivalent.
• Experience with Cadwell EMG/NCS systems.
• Prior work in a neurology or neurodiagnostic practice.
