About the Role

The Employee Engagement Programs Lead will create programming to strengthen the company’s culture and cultivate a greater sense of community to align with the company's growth trajectory. Monte Carlo has a strong culture, and as the Employee Engagement Programs Lead, you will play a pivotal role in helping to enhance, shape, and propagate it through various initiatives. We are seeking a passionate and creative individual who will lead the charge and be the driving force behind initiatives that infuse our company values into every aspect of our culture.

Here’s what you’ll be doing

  • Extend our World-Class Culture:

    • Starting with our Monte Carlo Culture Handbook, create programming to promulgate the core values, tenets, and operating principles that make Monte Carlo so special and make it the category leader

    • Proactively generate new ideas to continuously enhance and evolve our company culture.

    • Embed and champion our core values in every facet of our culture, nurturing a shared identity and sense of purpose.

    • Devise strategies to delight and captivate team members, fostering a unique bond and heightened engagement globally.

  • Infuse Company Values:

    • Embed and promote our core values in every aspect of our culture, fostering a sense of identity and purpose.

    • Continuously generate innovative ideas to evolve and enrich our company culture in tandem with our expansion

    • Devise strategies to delight and surprise team members, creating a special bond and a heightened sense of engagement across the globe.

  • Celebrate Milestones and Events:

    • Proactively generate ideas and execute plans to celebrate both individual and company milestones, special company wins, and company-wide events.

    • Event planning: Organize events and activities that promote team building, collaboration, and that help us live our values.

    • Innovate creative and lighthearted awards to celebrate achievements, complementing existing quarterly value awards.

  • Virtual and Regional Calendars:

    • Own and program the company’s quarterly cadence calendar, curating engaging and enjoyable events (mix of in-person and virtual) such as quarterly happy hours, educational sessions, and global holiday parties.

    • Manage regional calendars, organize monthly events, and create exciting office plans to enhance the workplace experience in each region.

    • Foster better connections between regions and Regional Leads and Hiring Managers, promoting a cohesive company culture.

    • Plan and coordinate regular leadership visits to global offices, integrating them with customer visits and team-building activities.

    • Empower and collaborate with Regional Leads to gather insights and plan culture initiatives specific to their regions, organize annual meetups, enhancing regional connections and team bonding.

  • Functional Specific Calendars:

    • Collaborate with functional leads to support team and function-level events, organizing quarterly activities tailored to each department's unique needs.

We’re excited about you because you have:

  • Proven experience in a culture-focused role, preferably in a global tech company; A strong understanding of organizational culture and its impact on business outcomes, employee productivity and employee engagement, productivity, and business outcomes.

  • Creative thinker dedicated to devising unique and memorable programming of events and company-wide messaging to imbue company values.

  • Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and managing culture-related programs and initiatives.

  • Previous leadership or management experience, as individuals in these roles often need a deep understanding of organizational dynamics. The ability to adapt to the unique needs and challenges of the organization, especially in dynamic environments.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple calendars and events seamlessly.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working closely with cross-functional teams, including the ability to effectively communicate Monte Carlo’s values and cultural expectations to all levels of the organization

  • Proactive mindset with the ability to initiate and drive cultural initiatives independently. Strong problem-solving abilities to identify cultural challenges and implement effective solutions.

  • Comfortable working in a remote work environment and traveling when needed
