Job Description
The Employee Relations Specialist is primarily responsible for providing support in all areas of employee relations and via the Employee Resource Center; aligning Human Resource strategies with federal, state, and local policies, procedures, laws and regulations; providing support to employees and managers to bring concerns to closure while protecting the interests of the organization and individual employees. The Specialist also supports objectives of other Human Resources teams and works closely with the Human Resources Business Partners. In this capacity, the Employee Relations Specialist will provide day-to-day consulting support to line managers as they navigate through the implementation of new HR strategies and processes including performance and, , etc. The Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for accepting incoming calls through the Employee Resource Center queue, and then logging cases in to the case management system for reference.

How You'll Spend Your Time
- You will establish and maintain good working relationships with managers while providing advice and counsel to management across BOKF's footprint on employee issues. You will ensure compliance with BOKF Human Resources Policy and Procedures, and legal requirements by helping management understand their HR risks and how to effectively manage them. You will interpret policy and procedures consistently and objectively.
- You will provide counseling and coaching to employees on work situations, and counsel employees regarding disciplinary issues.
- You will participate in internal audit/investigations of employee relations issues, complaints, and disputes; and will make recommendation for resolutions.
- You will provide regular status updates to employees and managers, and maintain employee/manager contact until request is resolved and case has been closed. You will maintain appropriate records/files of investigations.
- You will participate in the termination process by identifying opportunities and areas of concern requiring follow up. You will also coordinate the unemployment claim process.
Education & Experience Requirements
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Business related field or Human Resources and 3-5 years experience in human resources, employee relations or business related experiences or 6 years human resources or business related experience
