Position Highlights: The faculty member will participate in:

  • Clinical Care: Deliver exceptional patient care in all areas of endocrinology, diabetes and clinical nutrition, with access to state-of-the-art facilities and multidisciplinary support
  • Research Opportunities: Engage in cutting-edge research supported by robust infrastructure, including leveraging the Oregon Clinical and Translational Research Institute (OCTRI) funded as a Clinical and Translational Science Award recipient since 2006
  • Academic Environment: Contribute to our mission through teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to contribute to ongoing advancements in endocrine disorders research and care

The Endocrinologist will provide exceptional patient care to the adult patient population. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans and contribute to ongoing advancements in endocrinology and diabetes. This role actively mentors residents and fellows, fostering a collaborative learning environment. In this role, you will work as a generalist in Endocrinology and will have protected time to assume research grant funding, if desired.

 Required Qualifications

  • MD/DO required
  • Unrestricted Oregon medical license and/or ability to obtain
  • Board eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology
  • Demonstrated commitment to educational excellence in a clinical setting
  • New program graduates considered

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced training in medical education is highly desirable
  • Individuals of diverse background and experiences are highly encouraged to apply

The OHSU Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Clinical Nutrition comprises of a group of academic physicians, allied health professionals, and advance practice providers actively involved in the education, research, and clinical care in general endocrinology, including: diabetes and metabolism, lipids and clinical nutrition, and bone and mineral disorders. The Division supports a variety of activities with specialty clinics including the Harold Schnitzer Diabetes Health Center.
