Job Description

What impact you'll make:

As an Energy Transition Technology intern, you'll be an active contributor in the development of strategy across all of GE Vernova. This includes learning and expanding your existing knowledge through analysis and evaluation of technical and financial considerations of technologies and systems related to the energy transition.

What you will do:

• Work on an assignment within GE Vernova's Strategy, Innovation and Growth organization focused on research and/or analysis of technologies and systems.
• Develop skills necessary (e.g., technical know-how, market knowledge, data analytics, tools, processes) to provide insights to be used in developing corporate strategy.
• Use your academic knowledge and problem-solving skills to complete assigned project(s), deliver positive outcomes, and contribute to the success of our team.
• Report progress and status to leaders within the Strategy, Innovation and Growth team.

Internship Term Dates:

May/June - August 2025

Expected Work Schedule:

Day/1st -Shift (40 - hours weekly)

What You'll Bring (Basic Qualifications):

• Working towards a Bachelors or Masters Degree in a technical field of study in Mechanical, Systems or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (without rounding)
• Enrolled in a full time matriculated and nationally accredited baccalaureate or graduate program.
• Completed at least two full years of college.

The pay for this position ranges from $21.00/hr - $27.00/hr based on years of undergrate/graduate field of study completed

This position is also eligible for:

• Relocation Assistance: Co-op/Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable, proper, and documented expenditures incurred while initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon completion of the assignment. Employees with a permanent address greater than 50 miles away from the work location are eligible.
• Housing Allowance: Co-op/Interns employees receive a weekly housing allowance to help off-set living expenses when the co-op/Intern's permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location.
• Employee Assistance Program, providing 24/7 confidential assessment, counseling and referral services
• GE Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) after their accumulated service reaches 90 days, and they meet any other eligibility requirements as defined in the plans. (Eligibility occurs on the 1st of the month following the 90th day.)
