Engine Field Service Technician - Level I

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Field Service Heavy Diesel Technician to join our high performing field service team in Wetherill Park.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products and attend to breakdowns in the field, this will be on an on-call roster
• First responder to breakdown events
• Fleet maintenance
• Capturing engine data
• Fault diagnostics
• Diverse range engine repairs, both major and minor
• Inspect and replace components as required
• Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
• Working autonomously as well as having the ability to work in a great team environment W
• Work with other major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)

• Field service experience preferred coupled with heavy duty engine experience
• Relevant trade qualification (Heavy Diesel preferred but not necessary)
• Strong engine diagnostic experience
• The ability to work autonomously/remotely for extended periods
• A genuine commitment to workplace safety
• A valid driver's license Good interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
