TransUnion Consumer Interactive (TUCI), a wholly owned subsidiary of TransUnion, is looking for an Analyst, QA Engineer with an edge to perform Automation Testing Frameworks, TUCI builds credit monitoring applications for consumers, like you/us. Typically, these applications allow a consumer to view their credit report, credit score, receive credit alerts, lock their credit to prevent fraud, and simulate a credit score based on various parameters.

Dynamics of the Role

TransUnion requires a Quality Assurance (QA) to conduct testing on products & systems. The potential candidate requires to analyse results and finds solutions to technical problems. You will need to have capability to adapt quickly to new technologies and processes and to demonstrate success in delivering on-time with quality. He/She needs to have a passion for quality and have the ability to collaborate within a team to delight customers with TransUnion's technology solutions.

Impact You'll Make

• Work with Project Team, Development Team, Product Team, and end users to plan System Integration Test (SIT), and User Acceptance Test (UAT)
• Conducts Automation Testing & Manual Testing
• Contributes to improvements in QA testing coverage, develop test suites, expand test coverage and automate scenarios/cases
• Prepare test cases based on business scenarios including exception cases and regression test
• Ensure sufficient test coverage for all requirements/user stories
• Document test cases, test results and log down defects in Quality Control systems like Jira with detailed reproducing screenshots/attachments

What You'll Bring

• At least 4 years of experience in various phases of testing, designing, and developing complex enterprise applications, including automation test development, Mobile and API testing
• Work experience in financial industry is an advantage
• Ability to write and maintain automation scripts via Java.
• Experience in Selenium for web application testing.
• Experience in Postman and SOAP UI for API testing, RESTful and SOAP services.
• Experience in integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins)
• Experience In working with containerized applications and services - Docker/K8s
• Experience in one or more of the following technologies: Java. Jenkins, GIT, Selenium (Java), Robot framework, Cucumber, BDD is a plus
• Hands-on experience on executing automated test strategies and frameworks for UI & API test automation is a plus
• Hands-on experience with analyzing the requirements, writing test scenarios and reviewing test cases with scrum team
• AWS will be added advantage
• Knowledge on database testing, middleware / backend testing, and SQL queries
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated critical thinking
• Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent professional experience are Welcome
• Awareness on Processes like Scrum, SAFe & prior experience in working on this process are plus

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
