Senior Business Architect I - One-Tag
As a Sr Business Architect on One-Tag team, you will develop and drive business capability strategies and IT product roadmap, integration capabilities, functional feasibility, and design of software applications, providing consulting, governance, and subject matter expertise to business leaders. Interpret customer business needs and translate them into technical application and operational solutions. Engage other architects on enterprise architecture strategy and integration capabilities. Collaborate with software development teams to ensure that business, technical, and testing requirements are adequately defined and documented.
This role requires an outcomes-driven builder, thought leader and problem solver. This passionate customer advocate can articulate vision into action and champions modern thinking and technology. A keen understanding and appreciation for modern technology, distributed systems and resiliency - and the persistence to get every team there - is fundamental to success in this role.
Sr. Business Architect is responsible for:
- Serving as core members of an agile team that drives user story analysis and elaboration, designs and develops software applications, and tests and builds automation tools
- Owning all technical aspects of software development for assigned applications; performing hands-on solution architecture, develop the domain model and data model for the lending platform, create technical specifications, perform business validations, generate the swagger and JSON structures
- Development of API specs, conducting code reviews, educating other engineers, and doing proof of concepts/automation tools
- Driving consistent development practices, tools, and common components
- Developing deep understanding of tie-ins with other systems and platforms, and supporting those teams on their own modernization journeys
- Identifying opportunities to adopt new technologies to solve existing needs and predicting future challenges
- Mentoring Engineers and may have management responsibilities over 2-3 Engineers
- Collaborating with the cross functional teams to identify the opportunities for improvements and optimizations
- Able to convert the Business requirements into technical specs at an enterprise level
- Develop the Business process modeling
- Perform capability gap analysis
- Evaluate solution alternatives, frameworks and products
- Technical review and risk assessment for applications

This high energy Senior Business Architect must have:
- 10+ years of software development experience, with a deep focus on the development of API driven interactions
- 6+ Years of experience, Java, J2EE, Java Script, and Backend architecture
- Familiarity with security principles, SSL, Cryptography, JWE, JWS
- Should have worked on REST API design and implementation
- Concepts of Reactive frameworks - Vert.x, RxJava
- Demonstrate the quality to develop reusable frameworks
- Expertise in objected-oriented analysis and design across a variety of platforms
- Accustomed to microservices concepts
- Ability to effectively communicate to internal and external business partners on solution design
- Thorough understanding of multithreading, JSON, Web Services Technologies
- Good understanding of Kafka and Apigee
- Exposure to testing and automation capabilities such as mocking frameworks, JUNIT, TESTNG, Jenkins, Git, Stash, JIRA
- Should have implemented or worked on Continues Integration and Continues Delivery
- Ability to drive technical conversations with the staff engineers/architects and principal engineers/architects
- Demonstrated experience in agile development, application design, software development, and testing
- Experience developing server-side applications, including relational databases and NoSQL
- Expertise in objected-oriented analysis and design across a variety of platforms
- A proven hunger to learn new technologies and translate them into working software
- Ability to effectively communicate to internal and external business partners on solution design
- Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience with software development architecture, applications system design, and integration techniques
- Experience must include a minimum of: 3 years of experience with business system analysis; 3 years of experience with delivery industry leading solutions to market; 3 years of experience with object-oriented design and coding skills across a variety of platforms; 3 years of experience with modern API enablement, product management, and SaaS; 3 years of experience with Agile rapid application development methodology; 3 years of experience with distributed and Mainframe infrastructure, and RESTful services; and 3 years of experience with Java, Java Script, Node JS, Jenkins, Jira, Rally, and SOAP.

Salary Range: $70,000.00 to $135,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
