Job Description

The Engineer I, Web Developer will have the opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have exposure in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance websites that seamlessly integrate with headless CMS systems through REST APIs. The ideal candidate will have experience in Headless Wordpress with an interest in building skills with React and TypeScript. 

Responsibilities 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop React website build on headless WordPress
• Partner with engineering team members to implement UI/UX design to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces
• Utilize React, TypeScript, and Tailwind to build responsive and performance-driven web applications
• Work with Git for version control and collaboration with other developers
• Employ NodeJs for specific backend tasks
• Implement alerting and monitoring solutions using tools such as NewRelic, Sentry, etc.
• Understand Docker and Local for local development environments

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Experience with Headless WordPress development
• Interest in developing skills in JavaScript front-end frameworks (React, Next.js) skills
• Exposure to Vercel

• Strong communication skills, both in listening and expressing technical ideas
• High flexibility and adaptability to pivot as project directions evolve
• A strong work ethic, with an ability to work abstractly and gain consensus
• Commitment to thorough documentation of code, processes, and practices 

Additional Information

Compensation: 

Scaled Agile is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The target salary range for this role is $92,500 - $117,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.

Employees of Scaled Agile are also compensated with a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, optional insurance products including identity protection and pet insurance, 401K with a match, flexible paid time off, company-paid sabbatical after six years of service, bonus plan, and equity options.
